Agility dog hall of fame
The ADHF title, sponsored by the Golden Retriever Club of America is a tricky one. 10 double Qs, 375 points, 15 placements, 3 double Q/double placements... And we did it! Even better, the judges were family!

QQQ
On 5/12/12, Cash and I ran agility in Deleware for our 12th QQ. This was also our 4th QQQ toward TQX (10QQQs). I really like the site in Deleware - Cash was able to swim in between runs and cool off. It is also a small show, so much more low key and chill. I love running this dog, I didn't realize how much I missed the fun and the bonding while I was busy typing my thesis!

First weekend back to full trialing
Good results for Cash! First in FAST on Saturday with a Q in standard and a Q in jumpers. Both really solid runs with good points.
Sunday, FAST was pretty good but I said "come!" a bit too much and pulled him off the bonus. Standard was nice with a Q and jumpers was very slow, but we did earn a Q.
This weekend marks our 10th double Q so I guess we are now halfway to our goal!

Training a trained dog
Cash is clearly a trained dog. He knows his job and in general does it well. When I give the information correctly, he tries hard to do the job correctly...
So what to train?
I find it boring to practice what we know and find it tricky to come up with new skills to teach. I tend to look at new skills as unnecessary if they do not relate directly to our game - agility. And the hinges I need to work on - building consistent speed - I don't know how to do...
Hmmmm...
This weekend we trial both days. I'm going to bring the camera and actually use it. Perhaps if I view our runs I'll get an idea of what to work on.

Time to get back to this
I've been gone for over 2 years. In that time, I finished my master's degree and brought Cash from novice through to his mx/mxj. It's time to connect with the camera and the story telling again.
